‘Keeping up’ with Kick it with Keylite 2023

After the success of last year’s initiative, Kick it with Keylite returned with a brand-new message to support the construction sector.

Last year’s initiative was a huge success, most recently witnessing Keylite win a Mates in Mind Impact Award, for ‘Best Commitment to Raising Mental Health Awareness Through Fundraising’, after raising a whopping £20,000 for the mental health charity and spreading awareness at builders’ merchant’s pop-up events across the UK and Ireland.

This year, we have been challenging builders’ merchants, tradespeople and homeowners to “Pass it” in the name of Mates in Mind, who work to address the stigma of poor mental health within the construction sector. So, at the half-way point of this year’s campaign, let’s recap on how to get involved…

At Keylite, we love to know where our roof windows end up. So, to be entered into this year’s competition, merchants can ‘Pass it’ by sharing leads of the Keylite Roof Windows they’ve sold using a form found on the Kick it with Keylite page. Tradespeople and homeowners can also enter by either tagging us in or directly sending us a photo of a Keylite roof window used in their project via our social media channels – all to be in for a chance of winning exciting prizes!

Each ‘pass’ provides one entry into our monthly prize draw to win a £50 sports vouchers of their choice, as well as the chance to win our top prize, a Sky Sports annual TV pass worth over £400. The more times you pass, the more chances you have to win!

Merchants are also being encouraged to ‘pass’ support to colleagues and friends who may be struggling and to inspire people to talk about mental health in the workplace. We have been visiting builders’ merchants across the UK and Ireland – getting merchants and their customers involved in kicking a ball through a Keylite roof window, starting up the conversation around the ‘Pass it’ campaign and raising money for

Mates in Mind and two local Irish children’s charities: NI Children’s Hospice and Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin. We ask any merchants interested in having a ‘Kick it’ day to get in touch with their local Keylite Area Sales Manager.

So far, we have received a large number of competition entries from builder’s merchants, tradespeople and homeowners. We have also received some beautiful entry images showcasing their Keylite roof windows, which we are thrilled to see and hope to see more of!
